Contemporary art exhibition in Maison de Normandie

Until June 2017, Maison de Normandie is hosting a contemporary art exhibition with art works from the Artothèque of Caen.

Quite like a library, or “bibliothèque” in french, the artothèque allows people to borrow contemporary art works and bring it to their homes, schools, workplaces to enjoy them for a few weeksThe Artothèque of Caen was created in 1986, by the city of Caen (Normandy) in order to promote and support contemporary art.

Maison de Normandie offers you the opportunity to discover 27 artworks from the Artothèque of Caen’s collection, made by the following artists: Jacques VILLEGLE, Joël HUBAUT, Raphaël DENIS, Jacques PASQUIER, Joël DUCORROY, Jean-Claude MATTRAT, Bernard LOUVEL & Claude PY.

 

Do not hesitate to pop in for a look at the exhibition in Maison de Normandie’s building (71 Halkett Place). The exhibition starts in the ground floor and continues in the first floor.
Free entrance – Monday to Friday 9:30 to 17:00.
