WHAT'S ON IN NORMANDY

FOCUS ON:

LA VILLA DU TEMPS RETROUVÉ IN CABOURG

This new site opened its doors on July 2021, in the heart of Cabourg (Normandy). Explore "la Belle Époque" (Edwardian Era) with Marcel Proust as your guide! This innovative museum displays prestigious collections borrowed from major institutions and, allows you to travel through time to this special era of la Belle Epoque, "a time suspended between two centuries, between two wars, between two worlds".

 UN ETE AU HAVRE (A SUMMER IN LE HAVRE)

Until 19th September, discover the beautiful artworks temporarily installed in the city of Le Havre (Seine-Maritime): 6 events are planned and 4 dedicated walks through town will guide you to discover the 20 artworks in the public space.

13ème FESTIVAL MUSICAL DE LA LUCERNE

This classical music festival with affordable quality concerts takes place in the beautiful Abbey of La Lucerne d'Outremer (La Manche) until 18 September 2021.

LES REMPARTS DE L'ART

From 6 to 8 August 2021, you can discover a  nocturnal temporary art exhibition of some 40 sculptures and artworks in the public park Maurice Marland in Granville (La Manche). This year's theme is « Transgression ».

FESTIVAL DES VOILES DE TRAVAIL

This festival, dedicated to the sea is a focal point of Granville's cultural life! From 18 to 22 August 2021, the seaside resort hosts an intensive programme of events (exhibitions, cinema, boats tours, talks, concerts...).

LES TRAVERSÉES DE TATIHOU

The eclectic world music festival is back from 20 to 24 August 2021! In addition to listening to great bands and artists, take the opportunity to discover the little gem that is Tatihou island, nested in the North-Est of the Cotentin Peninsula. Click here to download the programme.

 JAZZ SOUS LES POMMIERS

For its 40th edition, the world-famous Jazz Festival taking place in the lovely town of Coutances (La Manche), will exceptionally be held in the summer, from 25 to 29 August 2021.

 MUSIKENSAIRE (Music festival)

MusikenSaire Festival showcases local talents, from 27 to 29 August 2021, in Barfleur (La Manche).

 COMIC BOOKS & GRAPHIC NOVELS FESTIVAL

Discover a wide range of artists and comic books in Evreux (l'Eure), on 28 and 29 August 2021.

 STREET ART FESTIVAL VENDREDIS DE L' ÉTÉ ET LES CLÉS DE BAGNOLES

Until 27 August 2021, Bagnoles de l'Orne, a charming and picturesque little town in L'Orne County, organises, as usual, free cultural events in the public space (concert, circus acts, theatre..).

WHAT ABOUT SPORTS?

NORMANDIE HORSE SHOW

Every year, the Normandie Horse Show organises a programme of equestrian events. In 2021, it will take place from 31 July to 8 August in St Lô (La Manche). Discover the complete programme here.

ROLEX FASTNET RACE

Boat race, from 7 to 15 August 2021, starting from Cowes (Isle of Wight) and arriving in Cherbourg (La Manche).

ALL AROUND NORMANDY

EN QUETE DE NORMANDIE 

Between 3 July and 7 November, follow the map and solve as many puzzles as you can amongst the 416 that have been created by more than 100 towns around Normandy.
