Newsletter from Normandy

August 2022

Good afternoon,

We are very happy to share with you our monthly newsletter about events in Normandy.

We are a bit late this month and we hope you were able to take advantage of everything Normandy has to offer this first week of August.

One event that was well worth the detour for its uniqueness and creativity is: La Nuit des Soudeurs. Taking place every year on the first week-end of August on the port of Granville, you can admire welders and blacksmiths working on their art all week-end and even buy their sculptures during the Sunday auction closing the festival.

Here are some pictures from this year's edition:

The organisers of "La Nuit des Soudeurs" are looking for artists from the Channel Islands to take part in the festival every year. If you are interested or know someone that could be, please contact us at

If you are going to Normandy in the next few weeks, click on the image on the left or right here to discover the main events happening in this great region.

Here are the highlights of the month:

- Mapping on Fécamp's cliffs

- Les Traversées Tatihou, music festival

- Medieval Fête of Lisors

- Horse Ball World Cup

... and so much more to enjoy! Summer is the time for festivals, we have listed some in our newsletter but so many more are happening! Have a look at the Tourist Offices websites referenced below to know more...
