Maison de Normandie’ s exhibition about William the Conqueror and the Battle of Hastings

To celebrate the 950th Anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, Maison de Normandie displays, until January 15th 2017, an exhibition presenting William’s Normandy.

Discover facts and info on the Battle of Hastings and the Conquest of England, William the Conqueror’s life and achievement, the Tapestry of Bayeux and Caen Castle.

We would like to thanks our partners in Normandy: The Musée de Normandie (Caen Castle) and The Museum of Bayeux’s Tapestry for lending us the objects and contents on display.
And a very special thanks to Fortuna electronic store, our neighbor in St Helier for lending us a TV device where you can see a short animated film on the Castle of Caen’s history!!
