DGC Communication (Advertisement Company in Saint-Lô) was recruited by ST JAMES (sweaters & clothing line) to shoot the images for the advertising campaign and catalogue for the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection.
With the help of Maison de Normandie, a team came to Jersey from January 2nd to 8th and went to various places in the island in order to shoot the photos. Jersey seemed the perfect location not only because of its closeness and its cultural and historical links to Normandy, but also because it offers a magnificent setting for a company aiming to promote high quality sea clothing.
ST JAMES is a high quality clothing company which has been established in Normandy, in the village of Saint-James, nearby the Mont Saint-Michel (in La Manche County), since 1889.The company clothing line fame is based upon a cult item of clothing “the genuine pure new knitted woolen seaman’s sweater”. Originally intended for deep sea fishermen, then adopted by known seafarers, and amateur yachtsmen. More info on the brand on the official website: http://www.saint-james.co.uk/
