2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Maison de la Normandie et de la Manche and we have decided to (re) introduce ourselves with our current shop window display!

Founded in 1995 under the visionary leadership of Pierre Aguiton, then President of the County of La Manche, the SMANM (standing for Syndicat Mixte Association Normandie Manche, official name of the entity behind Maison de la Normandie et de la Manche) has since represented two French local authorities in the Channel Islands: the County Council of La Manche & the Regional Council of Normandy.

In 30 years, we are proud to have:

  • Launched flagship initiatives such as Le French Festival or the French-language publication Le Rocher
  • Promoted the Norman territory through our tourist information centre, shop window displays and our Norman products shop
  • Supported economic stakeholders by facilitating partnerships or organising the Norman Markets
  • Strengthened human connections through cultural, sports and educational projects
  • Assisted Normans and Channel Islands twinning committees
  • Helped institutional dialogue

Come have a look at our windows to learn more about Maison de Normandie’s history and see some of our actions.

To celebrate this 30th anniversary, we have decided to offer you a 30% discount on all our products until the end of October. Come say Bonjour and don’t miss out on this great offer!

Here is a sneak-peak at our 30th anniversary display:
